2021 Christmas lottery update

The first prize in this year’s Channel Islands Christmas Lottery has now risen to £565,000 following a flurry of sales activity over the weekend.

The prize will continue to rise until the day of the draw, and with a week still to go it could still reach last year’s bumper jackpot of £696,740.

Sixty-six other winning ticket numbers will also be drawn in the night, for prizes from £500 up to £50,000.

Proceeds from the Christmas Draw will go to charities and other worthy causes throughout the Channel Islands.

Jon Taylor, Senior Lottery Officer for States Trading Group who operate the Lottery in Guernsey said:

“Sales were very strong over the weekend, and with the draw still a week away we are getting closer and closer to last year’s first prize of nearly £700,00. There are also lots of other prizes to be one, so there should be lots of happy islanders.”

The draw will take place shortly after 6 pm on Thursday 23 December.
