Net proceeds are available for distribution to worthy causes and local charities. £3m is raised every year and distributed to a range of community projects.
All proceeds from the Channel Islands Lottery are distributed to worthy causes throughout the Islands. The Lottery has supported hundreds of local charities and provided funding for essential community services and activities. £Millions have been raised over the last few years and through grant schemes in both Islands charities have been able to access substantial and consistent funding. Essential disability and health services such as the Guernsey and Jersey Cheshire Homes’, St John Ambulance Jersey, Les Bourgs Hospice in Guernsey and Jersey Hospice Care, are regular beneficiaries along with welfare charities such as the Guernsey Voluntary Service, Autism Jersey and Autism Guernsey, Jersey Alzheimer’s Association and MS Society Guernsey. The CI Lottery also provides grant funding for many other community based charities and projects along with larger grants for community events such as the 2021 Island Games, Liberation Day celebrations and Jersey’s iconic Battle of Flowers.
