Tickets for the 2025 Christmas Lottery go on sale tomorrow, with syndicates able to buy batches of tickets online.
The jackpot, which could rise as tickets are sold, starts at £300,000 with an additional 67 cash prizes and thousands of pounds worth of instant prizes.
This includes scratchcard games with 33,600 prizes on offer, which all go on sale from 1 October.
All proceeds from Guernsey sales – with tickets still £2 each – support local charities via the Social Investment Fund.
Businesses, charities and groups of friends and family will be able to purchase syndicate tickets online with delivery provided by Guernsey Post.
Jon Taylor, Head of Lottery, noted that sales have supported dozens of charities and community events since 1975 to the tune of tens of millions of pounds.
“Ultimately, the aim is to generate funds for worthy causes but we’re also conscious of keeping the ticket price as affordable as possible and making as many winners as we can with the prize fund available to us,” he said.
Dawn Gallienne, Head of Corporate Engagement for Guernsey Post, the main distribution agent in Guernsey, said shops and businesses would receive tickets in the coming weeks, as well as expanded deliveries for online orders.
“Both distribution agents in each island have offered syndicate ticket sales previously and will continue to do so but being able to purchase online through a secure web page makes life so much easier for syndicate customers,” Mr Taylor added.
The results will be announced in Jersey on Thursday 18 December.
